I had an outstanding experience with Ringwood Mazda and wanted to recognise the excellent service I received. My 2020 Mazda 3 is almost six years old and already out of warranty. Early in January the AC compressor failed and, shortly after, while I was driving, the car suddenly displayed multiple warning lights and went into a transmission malfunction mode. I brought the car to Ringwood Mazda for them to diagnose the issue. The service advisor, Sunny, was extremely helpful from the beginning. He explained that due to their busy servicing schedule it might take a few days to properly inspect the car, which was completely understandable. Within a few days they suspected the vehicle might require a new transmission. Without me even asking, Sunny proactively submitted a goodwill warranty claim to Mazda HQ on my behalf since I had regularly serviced the car with them. By the end of the same week they also arranged a Mazda CX-3 as a loan car at no cost, which was incredibly helpful as my work requires me to travel all around Melbourne. To cut a long story short, they submitted goodwill warranty claims for both the transmission and the AC compressor and both were approved by Mazda HQ. There was understandably some waiting time for parts and scheduling the repair work, so the whole process took around seven weeks. Throughout that time, Sunny kept me regularly updated on the progress. The loan car was a lifesaver — I ended up driving more than 3,500 km in it while continuing my work. When I finally collected my car, it was returned in exactly the same condition I left it in — spotless inside and out, with no scratches or marks. Most importantly, the car now drives perfectly and the air conditioning is even stronger than before. The team at Ringwood Mazda truly went above and beyond, and they handled everything proactively without me even needing to ask. In the end, the entire repair did not cost me a single cent. I’m extremely grateful for the professionalism, transparency and customer care shown throughout the whole process. Highly recommended.
